The King Saud bin Abdulaziz University Libraries are committed to the purpose of enabling the medical specialties to be effective units with a high value message which is to contribute in the university's competence in education, science, research and medical services by providing comprehensive, efficient and accurate information services and facilities. The main goals are:

• Constructing, developing and organizing comprehensive and up-to-date information resource groups to support scientific, educational, therapeutic and research activities in all of disciplines of concern to the university.
  
  
• Providing rapid and effective library/information services to the university’s faculty in a way that doesn't require great effort to obtain them.
  
  
• Providing the faculty with basic and advanced skills in order to make the best use of   medical and scientific information resources through training programs and guidance information.
  

• Providing an infrastructure regarding the space, techniques and directional methods and other basic requirements to facilitate finding the information needed by the faculty.
