The College of Public Health and Health Informatics at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences has been established by virtue of a decree issued by the University Council in its first session of the academic year 1427/1428 corresponding to 2006/2007 held on Dhu Al Qadah 28, 1427 corresponding to December 19, 2006.
The College is a remarkable accomplishment of the Saudi health education as it is the first college in this specialty in the Kingdom and the Gulf region, and probably in the Middle East. The College aims to spread knowledge and provide students with the academic qualifications and skills in various majors of Public Health and Health Informatics with academic excellence as its ultimate goal. To satisfy the aspirations of the community and those of Public Health and Health Informatics stakeholders, the College aims to graduate leaders equipped with knowledge, high skills, and ethics based on sound scientific foundations. It also aspires to conduct distinguished research works related to decision- making based on evidence and information. |

CPHHI strives to merge administrations of health systems with concepts of public health and demographic studies, analytic potentialities of epidemiology, medical economics, health awareness activities, and health environment campaigns into an effective impact of a better outcome in terms of the citizens’ health. This integration is innovative in itself. Based on concerted efforts of all health organizations, this integration is expected to bear promising results.

Admission Requirements
(For all Programs)
In addition to the conditions stipulated in the unified statutes of graduate studies in Saudi universities, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree obtained from an accredited university. Bachelor’s degrees is will be accepted according to the criteria used by the department if the applicant has three years experience in the health field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or its equivalent for all applicants.
- A minimum score of 550 in TOEFL examination or IELTS with a score of 6.
- Two academic recommendations by previous teachers and a third one from a place of employment (if any).
- Should pass the exams administered by the department as well as the interview. Applicants should satisfy any other conditions laid down by the department.
Required Documents:
- Three verified copies of Bachelor’s certificate, with a copy of MHE verification if certificate is from abroad.
- Three verified copies of Academic Transcripts.
- Two original academic recommendation letters.
- Three copies of Civil ID.
- One copy of passport.
- Two colored ID pictures (males only).
- Original copy of the English examination.
- Letter of No Objection from employment Sector.
