The Deanship of Admission and Registration at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Riyadh is pleased to announce the admission dates for postgraduate programs (Master degree) for the second semester of the academic year 2012/2013.

1. College of Medicine in Riyadh: Master of Medical Education:
   (For bachelor graduates in: medicine, dentistry, applied medical sciences)
   
2. College of Public Health and Health Informatics in Riyadh:

• Master of Health Informatics:
  (For bachelor graduates in: medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, laboratories, health system management, information management, computer and information technology)
  
• Master of Public Health in Health Systems & Quality Management:
  (For bachelor graduates in: medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory,  health system management)
  
• Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics:
  (For bachelor graduates in: medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory)
  
• Master of Public Health:
  (For bachelor graduates in: medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, laboratories, health system management, health education, public health, clinical nutrition).

Date of submission:
Online application opens until  Friday August 31, 2012.

Date of documents submission:
Candidates will initially be informed via e-mail about when to submit their documents.

Test date of (Master of Medical Education):
The test will be on Saturday, September 22, 2012.

Interviews Dates:
Interviews begin on Saturday September 29, 2012 and end on Wednesday October 10, 2012.

Admission Requirements:

1. Saudi nationality
2. Recipient of Formal scholarship for non-Saudi applicants for programs in the College of Public Health and Health Informatics only
3. No less than a GPA of 3.50 / 5.00 or equivalent for graduates from the College of Medicine or the College of Dentistry, and a GPA of no less than 3.75 / 5.00 for the rest of applicants from other Health Specialties
4. Recipient  of a score of (550) in TOFEL, or (6) in IELTS, the result should be available before the start of the academic year for the College of Public Health and Health Informatics programs
5. Applicant should have medical experience for one year at least in the health fields (for College of Public Health and Health Informatics programs)
6. Approval from the employers to study for two academic years
7. Passing the personal interview
8. Passing the college admission test
9. Passing the medical exam
10. Filling out application form through the online application  

Required Documents:

1. Three copies of bachelor degree certificate or graduation certificate with the original for verification
2. In case of certificates were issued outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it must be certified by official authorization center, with copy of the equivalent authorization form from Ministry of Higher Education
3. Three certified copies of the academic record
4. Original approval from the manager to study for two academic years
5. Three copies of the national identity card with the original for verification
6. Three colored photos 4x6 (for male students)
7. Three copies of the passport along with the original for verification
8. Three recent letters of recommendation.
