KSAU-HS aims to raise health awareness in the Saudi community through providing services and arranging health related activities and events. In order to achieve this goal, the following objectives were established:

• To increase public health education.
• To emphasize the concept of the ‘Kingdom of Humanity’.
• To provide healthcare to the community.
• To provide training and educational programs to the community.
• To improve public health by promoting preventive medicine.

Strategic Objective 1: To expand health education programs
Implementation Strategy:

• Ensure effective contributions to WHO Health Awareness Days and sponsor a wide range of health promotion activities.
• Create health focused TV programs.
• Publish health education materials & pamphlets.
• Participate in the Janadriyah Festival.

Strategic Objective 2: To expand early disease detection (screening) programs.
Implementation Strategy:

• Conduct programs for early diagnosis of cancer.
• Conduct programs for early diagnosis of pediatric hereditary and metabolic disease.
• Conduct programs for early diagnosis of dental disease.
• Conduct programs for early diagnosis of diabetes.
• Conduct programs for early diagnosis of disease associated with obesity.
• Conduct programs for early diagnosis of other diseases.
• Contribute to the development of pre‐marital testing programs (genetic screening).

Strategic Objective 3: To participate effectively in environmental protection programs.
Implementation Strategy:

• Conduct studies dedicated to environmental protection.
• Collaborate with organizations in the struggle against environmental pollution.
• Collaborate with concerned organizations to establish acceptable environmental pollution standards..

• Support Family Safety Programs and help achieve the goal of implementing them nationwide.

• Support Family Care Programs.
• Support programs that fight drug use.
• Support No-Smoking Programs.
• Support Traffic Accident Prevention Programs, Public General Safety Programs, and trauma studies.
• Support Disaster Programs.
• Establish a program to monitor health outcomes and changes within the community.

• Provide facilities for the disabled and people with special needs.
• When constructing and redesigning new and existing buildings and facilities, we consider the requirements of the disabled and those with special needs.
• Provide job opportunities for the disabled and those with special needs in positions that suit their condition and enable them to contribute to the organization objectives.
