This society will support strategic plans that seek to communicate with international bodies to advertise the importance of this science in diagnosing and curing serious diseases. The goal of this Saudi society unlike that of the Saudi Scientific Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (SSBMT) is not to cure disease but to diagnose it. It aims to develop scientific reasoning and communication  in the diagnostic field. It also seeks to provide scientific advice and facilitate the exchange of scientific output between the Society and other relevant societies and organizations locally and abroad. It will also support specialized programs, research and treatment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, encourage and support programs that focus on scientific diagnosis, and suggest scientific methods which help to seek new and advanced aspects of diagnostic cytology.
