Saudi Physical Therapy Workshop and Conference

Location: For Workshop: PTC, KAMC, RD / For Conference: Riyadh Marriott Hotel 

The Rehabilitation Services of King Abdulaziz Medical City in collaboration with the Postgraduate Education & Academic Affairs of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences will host the "Saudi Physical Therapy Conference" on 14 May 2012 (workshops) at the Postgraduate Training Center and on 15-16 May 2012 (conference) at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel.  

Objectives:

  • To exchange knowledge, clinical experience and standards with international organizations and prominent names in the field
  • To highlight recent advances in the physiotherapy and rehabilitation from the clinical prospective
  • To discuss strategies to promote the role of physiotherapy and rehabilitation
  • To exhibit and demonstrate recent technology use in rehabilitation

Themes:

  • Recent orthopedic physical therapy intervention
  • Advances in pediatric treatment approaches in chronic disorders
  • Neurological rehabilitation techniques and technology
  • Recent assistive technology in rehabilitation
  • New developments in hand injury management

Speakers: International, national and regional speakers.

CME: accredited CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS)

Call for abstract: deadline for submission 15 February 2012
