KSAU-HS celebrates the Graduation of 1000 Scholarship Students

On July 3rd, 2009, King Saud University for Health Sciences will participate in the ceremony arranged by The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) in Washington, sponsored by The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khaled Al Angari and the Saudi Ambassador in Washington Mr. Adel Al Jubair in order to honor the second group of students to graduate under King Abdullah's scholarships program.

Dr. Hanan Balkhi, an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine and a Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases Consultant, will represent the University and the National Guard Health Affairs. The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission invited more than 200 universities from Washington and other states to join this ceremony which will be held in the Marriott Crystal City in Washington.

The ceremony activities will include a career day to recruit the graduates directly after graduation as well as launching the governmental electronic services to assist the students.  An exhibition for Saudi student activities will be set up, presenting some of the distinctive cultural activities for different Saudi clubs. In addition, opportunities for talented individuals will be given to display their talents and specialized skills. 

During the career day, several Saudi universities will benefit from this ceremony by holding a meeting with university representatives to discuss possible opportunities for qualified graduates.
