Today, 3 May 2017 the Wife of Minster of National Guard, His Royal Highness Prince Muteb Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Princess Jawaher bint Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud patronize the Female Graduation Ceremony for the 14th batch of KSAU-HS students 2017. The ceremony was held on the Conference Center in Riyadh campus. The Graduates this year are 541 students from bachelor's and Postgraduate studies in colleges from Riyadh and its branches in Jeddah and Al-Ahsa.
The ceremony started with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by the march of the graduates. After that, a student gave a speech of the graduates, who she thanked Her Royal Highness Princess Jawaher bint Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud for the patronage of this ceremony and sharing the joy of graduation with students. Also, she thanked the president of the university H.E Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, deans, associate deans, supporting deanships, and all faculty for their support during their academic career.
On this occasion, Dean of College of Nursing, Dr. Haya Mohammad Al Fozan gave a speech on behalf of H.E. Dr. Bandar Abdul Mohsen Al Knawy, President of the university Executive Director of Health Affairs in National Guard, in which she praised the generous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to the health and education sectors. Moreover, she stressed that the university, after obtaining the full institutional accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, "Education Evaluation Commission" is working to support those fields with promising medical and health skills.
Furthermore, Dr. Al Fozan said “the university celebrates today the graduation of 541 students in various degrees and majors in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Ahsa. The 14 batch includes 125 graduates in postgraduate, specialized fellowship, Saudi Board, 7 graduates in scholarship. In addition, it includes 43 graduates in College Medicine and Surgery, and 277 in Nursing”. She added that the university celebrates first batch in College of Applied Medical Science (female) with 89 graduates in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Emergency Medical Services, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Clinical Nutrition.
Moreover, Dr. Alfozan She said that our main goal is to contribute to the health sector to provide the graduates with the knowledge that helps them in the direction of practice and achievement, and to serve their religion and country, stressing their full confidence and becoming an ambassadors to the university. Beside, On behalf of His Excellency the President of the University, she expressed her sincere thanks to HRH Prince Muted bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of National Guard, for his continuous support to the University and to His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa for the great support to the University. Beside ,Dr. AlFozan thanked On behalf of the employees of the university and its graduates Her Highness Princess Jawahar for honoring the ceremony and wishing the graduates a successful career.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Alfozan presented a Honorary Plaque to Her Highness Princess Jawaher AlSaud , and a Honorary Plaque to the students who earned the first honors.
