Al Fwzan: Patriotism is Compliance not just feelings

In the presence of His Excellency, President of the University, Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al-Knawy, Deanship of Students Affairs in corporation with University Relations and Media Affairs and Student Club, organized the ceremony for the 87th Saudi National Day. For that, organizers invited Professor Abdullah Al Fwzan, Member of Al Shura Council, to talk about the role of institutions of higher education in the development of national spirit. 

Professor Al Fwzan gave a speech in which he explained that love of homeland is not slogan we raise every day, but compliance and daily action by preserving the country environmental, industrial, and social resources. He said also that patriotism is the nature of the soul that can be seen in appreciation and loyalty to the homeland. Professor Abdullah insist on that educational institutions must support and encourage young generation psychologically and educationally in order to graduate successful and talented students to serve their religion and their country. Moreover, Al Fwzan pointed out that Saudi Arabia is proud of its young citizens noting that every Saudi is grateful and proud the ancestors who contributed with the founder, King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, to unite our homeland from the north to the south and from east to west.

From his part, His Excellency, President of the University, Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al-Knawy, gave a speech in which he stressed that the pride of this homeland makes us grateful to it and its leadership and leads to make every effort to preserve it and its resources. In addition, H.E highlighted the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to support the higher education and health sectors.

Finally, the aim that KSAU-HS seeks of making this celebration is to share the joy of renew loyalty, enhance the value of Patriotism, appreciate bless of safety, and national cohesion. Also, to identify the Saudi heritage and the history of its environment through exhibition which was in cooperation with the General Directorate of Relations and Protocol at the Ministry of National Guard.
