Health awareness days are examples of positive international collaboration for a greater cause in the field of health education and information. Many of these days deal with a number of diseases and health issues that are not limited to one country alone but extend beyond political boundaries

This guide has been prepared to reflect the how King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences has a vested interest in raising awareness as well as an in effort to participate with the international community to achieve the humanitarian goals of these days.

A team of students from the College of Medicine, College of Applied Medical Sciences and College of Nursing collected basic information about major awareness days and determined their dates. They commended this experience on the positive affect it had in activating their interest in activities.

Participating students:

• College of Medicine: Ahmed Asmari, Ahmed Algelaud, Bassam AlHassan, Amer Al-Zahrani, Abdulaziz Al Alwan, Abdullah Al Anzi, Mohammed Abu Abah, Muhannad Al-Ghamdi and Hisham Al Mofadda.
• College of Applied Medical Sciences: Raed Al-Ghamdi, Mazen al-Harbi, and Maher Al Selmi.
• College of Nursing: Rabab Al-Ali, Zahrah Al Asiri, Zainab Al Matar, Fahda Al Sarj, Noura Al-Mutairi, Nouf Al Theferi, Nouf Al Otaibi.
