​Dear Students, please adhere to the following policy:

Before You Schedule an Appointment:

1. Appointments must be made at least two days in advance through the College Website (News page). If you face any issues please send an email to:


2. Make sure to attach the correct document.

3. Appointments are for 30 minutes.

4. Appointments are limited to two per week.

5. The tutor will provide feedback to help you improve your work; they will not proofread or edit the paper for you.

6. If you make an appointment and cannot attend it, please cancel it at least four (4) hours ahead of time so somebody else can use it.

7. If a student is more than 5 minutes late and has not notified us, their appointment may be given to someone who is waiting.

8. If a student misses two appointments per semester without giving us two hours’ notice, they will not be allowed to make any other appointments that semester.

9. Clarify the purpose of what you need from the writing tutor.

Your Paper Format/Style should be:

APA 7th Edition or Vancouver Style
a. Font type: “Times New Roman”
b. Font size: 12​
c. Margins: 1" Top, Bottom, Left, and Right

Note: Follow your instructor’s guidance NOT the Writing Center if there are any discrepancies.
