Radiology programs focus on patient care procedures, medical ethics, radiobiology, medical terminology, physiology, and pathology, as well as extensive clinical training to operate complex equipment and study X-rays. The program will teach other diagnostic imaging technologies including computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The radiologic technologist works closely with the radiology doctor (radiologist) and other physicians and plays a vital role as a professional member of the medical team. Technologists work in the hospitals’ general radiography, surgery, trauma, pediatrics, clinics, doctors’ offices, CT, mammography, and imaging centers.
