Dr. Mohammed Alqahtani

Assistant Professor

Dr. Mohammed Alqahtani is an Assistant Professor in the Respiratory Therapy Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences at KSAU-HS. He holds a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has extensive experience in the field. Dr. Alqahtani began his career at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) where he earned his B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy and progressed to his current role as Assistant Professor. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Alqahtani is actively involved in research, currently serving as the Research Coordinator at the Respiratory Care Department. His commitment to research is further evidenced by his numerous prestigious awards and honors, including Sparkman Global Health Fellowship, University of Alabama at Birmingham, 2019-2020 and American Thoracic Society Fellowship, Mentorship Program, 2019-2021. Dr. Alqahtani is a highly respected professional who actively contributes to the field through his memberships in esteemed organizations like Member of the American Thoracic Society, and Member of the Phi Kappa Phi Membership.
