Dr. Talal Alghassab

Assistant Professor

Dr. Talal is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, KSAU-HS. He received his undergraduate degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. He then went on to obtain a master's degree in Hematology from the University of the West of England, followed by a PhD from The University of Sheffield. His research interests include recent advancements in transfusion medicine services, such as genetics in hematology and immunohematology, as well as the study of blood alternatives, triggers of erythrocyte's suicidal death, and the establishment of AI mentoring programs.
