 Mr. Ahmed Al Otaibi

Teaching Assistant
Mr. Ahmed Al Otaibi is a Teaching Assistant in the Anesthesia Technology Department at the College of Applied Medical Science, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. A distinguished alumnus of the same university, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Anesthesia Technology in 2018. After graduating, he honed his clinical expertise as a certified anesthesia technologist at King Abdulaziz Medical City, a leading tertiary care center at the Ministry of National Guard. He furthered his expertise with a Master's degree in Critical Care from the prestigious Queen Mary University of London, UK.

Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. His research delves into the critical and complex interplay between autonomic dysfunction and the development of infectious complications following non-cardiac surgery. This pivotal research aims to significantly improve patient safety and optimize outcomes in this critical field.
