 Ms. Asma Al Dawood

Teaching Assistant
Ms. Asma Al Dawood is a Teaching Assistant in the Occupational Therapy Department at the College of Applied Medical Science, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. As a distinguished alumnus of King Saud University, her Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy served as a solid foundation for his academic and professional pursuits.

Driven by a passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, Ms. Al Dawood pursued a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the Cardiff University in the UK. her master's thesis focused on the Perspectives of mothers of children with disabilities on the supports and barriers to community participation in Saudi Arabia.

Currently, Ms. Al Dawood is a PhD candidate in Health & Related Research at the University of Sheffield in the UK. Her ongoing doctoral research investigate the Barriers to the provision of mobility assistive technologies (MAT) and associated services in  Saudi Arabia
