Ms. Azhar Akhmimi is a dedicated Teaching Assistant contributing to the excellence of the Cardiovascular Technology-Echocardiography program at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Ms. Akhmimi's commitment to advanced knowledge led her to the prestigious Imperial College London, where she earned a Master's degree in Medical Ultrasound. Her master's thesis made significant contributions to the field by investigating the complex interplay between left and right ventricular function following out-of-hospital cardiac arrest through innovative two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography.

Currently, Ms. Akhmimi is pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Liverpool, delving into the intricacies of resistant hypertension with a focus on cardiac microvascular perfusion and mechanics. Her research promises to yield groundbreaking insights into this critical health challenge.
