​​​Introduce foundation year students for different specialties in CAMS-J such as Radiological Sciences, Clinical Laboratory, Nutrition, Occupational theory, Emergency medical sciences in order to guide them for choosing their specialty.
Objective(s):
  1. Demonstrate the role of Radiological sciences program in the university.
  2. Demonstrate the role and responsibilities of Radiology Technologist.
  3. Demonstrate Internship year and discuss after graduation opportunities.
  4. Identify the job opportunities in Radiology department in the hospital.

  2. How can we support COVID-19 patients

          International Day of Radiology “IDOR"

          This activity was implemented by a group of students from Radiology department to raise awareness among radiologists of how to protect themselves when dealing with cases of COVID-19 and to support COVID patients through their crisis. This activity was conducted in November 8, 2020.

           


           

          Shoaa campaign

          This campaign was implemented by a group of radiology students for all segments of society, especially health employees and radiologists to introduce the role of the radiologist and to drag the attention into the importance of the radiology program. The campaign was conducted on April 8 ,2021. The Annual Report of Community Service Unit 2020-2021 7 The following table represents data about how many activities were conducted in the first and the second semester in the academic year of 2020-2021 for each program. The numbers show that the higher percentage almost 85% of activities were conducted in the 2nd semester of 2020-2021.

          This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Radiological Sciences Program to explain the osteoporosis to the society and explain the role of Radiology technologist in diagnosing osteoporosis. This campaign was conducted from 19-20th October of 2022.


           

          Breast Cancer 

           This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Radiological Sciences Program to explain the breast cancer to the patients and the role of Radiology technologist in diagnosing breast cancer. This campaign was conducted 23-24th of October, 2022.

           

           


          International Radiology Day –IDOOR- 

          This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Radiological Sciences Program to explain the role of Radiology in medicine and the role of Radiology Technologist with patients. This campaign was conducted in 8 th November of 2022.​
