The campaign aims to educate the community about what are the most common pulmonary conditions among Saudi community, who is the respiratory therapist, and what is Respiratory Therapy ​​

You Lung, Your Life 2 - رئتك حياتك 2 

The campaign aims to educate the community about what is pulmonary rehabilitation program, who are the targeted population in pulmonary rehabilitation program, how do respiratory therapists deal with patients who have chronic pulmonary diseases, and to engage the community by trying some exercises used in pulmonary rehabilitation programs. 
 

 
Breathe - تنفس  ​

The campaign aims to educate the community about what are the sleep disorders, how to treat sleep disorders, and who is at risk of sleep disorders.  
 ​

Breathe 2 - تنفس 2 

The campaign aims to educate the community about what are genetic lung disease, how are they transmitted from generation to another, and how to live and adapt with these diseases.

The campaign aims to educate the community about some misconception that may lead to respiratory problems. ​

Predicting and preventing hospital readmission for exacerbations of COPD

This activity was implemented by a group of respiratory therapy department students to follow the necessary procedures to reduce the possible causes that lead to the hospital readmission of COPD patients to the hospital.
 

 

Rapid sequence intubation

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy department to introduce the ideal and healthy method of installing a tube with high accuracy and speed to preserve the patient’s life. This activity was conducted on in March 24 2021.

 

 
Pulmonary Rehab in Saudi Arabia

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy department to introduce the Pulmonary rehabilitation programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This activity was conducted on in March 29 ,2021.

 

 
 RT in emergency department

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy department to identify the tasks required from the respiratory therapist in the emergency department. This activity was conducted in March 30, 2021.

 

 
 Respiratory management of near drowning obesity and burns

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy Department to introduce the treatment of respiratory diseases in cases of obesity, drowning and burns. This activity was conducted in April 6, 2021.

 

 
COPD and its Nutritional support

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy Department in cooperation with the Clinical Nutrition department, in order to raise awareness of the proper nutrition for COPD disease. This activity was conducted in April 7, 2021.

 

 
 Respiratory therapists as educator

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy Department to introduce the importance of respiratory therapists and their educational role to health care providers, patients and patients' families. This activity was conducted in April 10, 2021.
 

 

Early mobilization in the ICU

This activity was implemented by a group of students from Respiratory Therapy Department to introduce the importance of early mobilization in the ICU. This activity was conducted in April 6, 2021.​

“Breath 4"

This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Respiratory Therapy Program to Increase public awareness about Respiratory System and give back to the community. This activity was conducted from 15- 16 March.22

Breath 5

This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Respiratory Therapy Program to Increase public awareness about Respiratory System and give back to the community. This activity was conducted from 27-28 of October, 2022.
 

 
 
 
Hand Hygiene and the Etiquette of Sneezing and Coughing

This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Respiratory Therapy Program in a school to show the kids the proper way to wash their hands to prevent diseases and the etiquette of sneezing and coughing. This activity was conducted in February 5 of 2023.
 

 
 
Electronic Cigarettes and Vapes Awareness Campaign

This activity was implemented by a group of students under the supervision of faculty members from the Respiratory Therapy Program. This activity aims to educate high school students (audience) about the harmful effects of e-cigarettes and how to stop using them. This activity was conducted on 2 different days, the first date was on May 18, 2023 which was targeting male high school students, and the second date was May 22nd 2023 which was targeting female high school.​

Vape and E-cigarettes awareness campaign

The aim of this campaign was to educate high school students on how harmful e-cigarettes are and how can it affect their health in the long and short term. Also, a lot of teenagers have many misconceptions about e-cigarettes and we are opting to clarify the misconceptions.​


 
Tiny Lifesavers

The main goal of this activity is to educate children in the first, second, and third grades about choking incidents and train them to quickly and effectively respond in such emergencies to promote child safety and build a community where children play an active role in emergency preparedness.


 
Hand Washing Techniques and Sneezing Etiquette

This activity aims to educate first, second, third grade students about proper hand washing technique and sneezing etiquette in order to protect themselves from transmitting respiratory infections.


 
First Aid

The main goal of this activity is to educate intermediate school students on first aid responses to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations and provide immediate aid to individuals experiencing life-threatening incidents.


 
COPD Day

The aims of this activity inculde: recognizing COPD and its causes,discussing ways to manage symptoms; particularly for seniors, and describe the proper method for quitting smoking and the value of prevention.
