Dr. Khalid Alshamrani is the Dean, Chairperson of Radiological Sciences Department and Associate Professor at the College of Applied Medical Sciences-Jeddah (COAMS-J), King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), (Jeddah, KSA).  

Dr. Alshamrani obtained his Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in 2017 and Master of Science degree (MSc.) in 2014, in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (Lowell, MA, USA). He also obtained his Master of Medical Education (MME) in 2022 from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Jeddah, KSA.  He also obtained his Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in 2011, in Bioimaging from Boston University (Boston, MA USA), and his Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in 2008, in Diagnostic Radiology from King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah, KSA). His research interest is in the diagnostic aspects of medical imaging technologies and radiation sciences.
