The College of Public Health & Health Informatics is Welcoming and congratulating the accepted Students to the King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Students have been chosen for admission to The KSAU-HS College of Public Health and Health Informatics because they were among the best and they have proven that they can achieve and excel in their academic endeavors that are indicators of their future success.
New Students are entering a prestigious University that is recognized both nationally and internationally for our outstanding faculty, exemplary education and for cutting edge research. Nonetheless, what appears to be most important for Students is that we are known for producing exceptional professionals in the fields of Medical Informatics, Public Health, Health Institutions Systems and Management, and Epidemiology and Biostatistics, among other specialties.
As they enter a vigorous program over the next two years, each one of them is expected to successfully accomplish the demanding core modules of their chosen specialty and be able to practice the skills acquired within the four corners of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics. During each semester, where which each concentration will assist them to explore further areas relevant to their career goals, they will complete important practice-based learning experiences that will contribute in their problem solving advancement.
Students are yet to unfold another exciting phase in their professional lives – one that has a myriad of career opportunities. Hence, it is critical that as they commence with their first semester they begin developing a unique set of skills and experiences that will differentiate them from other public health and health informatics graduates. As we are here to provide them with opportunities, it is their responsibility to develop themselves professionally, bearing in mind that their personal professional development is important regardless of the career path that they decide to pursue.
