Dr. Fatmah Othman

Assistant Dean, CPHHI, KSAU-HS.


Dr. Othman is currently serving as the Assistant Dean at the Office of Research and Program Director for the Master of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Program, at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh. She is an expert in the field of epidemiology with extensive experience in research methods, study design, and statistical analysis of primary and secondary data. Licensed as a General Practitioner by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties, Dr Othman combines clinical insights with research rigor. As an educator, she teaches research methods, genetic epidemiology, and observational study designs to master's students.
Dr. Othman's research interests span across infection epidemiology, critical care, respiratory diseases, survival analysis, meta-analysis, and nutritional epidemiology. She is actively involved in ongoing research projects aiming to improve healthcare outcomes on both national and international levels.
