PROF. Motasim Badri

Professor, Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics
Prof Badri teaching experience extend for more than 29 years. He taught mathematical statistics and biostatistics courses at various settings and academic levels in Sudan, South Africa, Northern Ireland-UK and Saudi Arabia.  The testimony for the significance and impact of the research work undertaken by Prof Badri with colleagues and collaborators at the various institutions worked at is reflected in the relevant internationally recognized measureable metrics. His current h-index is at 42.  Currently, he was included in Stanford University list of the top 2% most widely cited scientists. His research work was published in high impact factor journals and presented in international conferences, and involved collaborations with researchers of international standing affiliated with international educational institutions of excellence in teaching and research. Most of his research work was based upon multicenter collaborative studies that were awarded highly competitive research funds from international research agencies such as the National Institute of Health (NIH)-USA, European Community and MRC-UK. His role in these research projects included participation in the design, data acquisition, data analysis and significant contribution to the writing up of research proposals and scientific peer-reviewed manuscripts submitted for publication.
