The Well-Student Center (WSC) has been established to address the wellbeing of all students (Males and Females) of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
Mission:
The Well-Student Center aims to provide quality support and assistance to all students in order to facilitate a healthy learning environment.
Contribute to student’s professional advancement as well as psychological and general well-being.
After graduation, students encompass both academic and psychological traits of a well-balanced individual.
Vision:
A fully functioning services of the Well-Student Center for the entire university. Functioning as an autonomous unit and meeting all the psychological and emotional needs of the service users.
Goals:
-Early detection and intervention of a psychological and behavioral student.
-Facilitate an Easy access to psychiatric consultation if needed.
-Provide Counseling sessions students in needed.
-Running Workshops to target common psychological problems in university students.
-Reduce the student’s maladaptive behaviors.
-Minimize the student academic failure or drop due to psychological reasons.
-Reduce the mental health problems stigma.
