Welcome to the website of the Medical Student Branch at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, College of Medicine (KSAU-HS, COM-Female Branch). All College faculties, administrators and staff activities are directed to support students' preparation towards companionate patient care, excellence in research and community conscious service. The College of Medicine has a unique entity of being part of the first and only Health Sciences University in the region and of being one of the pioneers in implementing Problem Based Learning curriculum in the Kingdom. Although we were established as a college in 2004 and as a female branch in 2011, we have achieved a good reputation in the area and even internationally. COM generally and the Female Branch specifically, enjoys an exceptional reputation in unique students' education and curriculum implementation. From the beginning, our medical students are involved in clinical reasoning, training in doctor-patient communication skills and learning which is enhanced by the most advanced technologies. In the Female Branch, we have a state-of-the-art equipped skills lab and simulation center which allows students to hone their skills. We believe in the importance of female medical education and the role that female physicians have and will play in the advancement of our community health. We implement a parallel curriculum to the Male Medical Student Branch with monitored progress and achievements.
