- Dermatologic care of adult patients in King Abdulaziz Medical City at National Guard, treating different conditions of skin, hair, nail and mucous membrane.

- Ensure the quality of the Dermatology residency training

Dana Alessa is an Assistant Professor at College of Medicine in King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
Dr. Alessa is an American board certified Dermatologist; after obtaining her MBBS degree from College of Medicine at King Saud University with First Class Honours (2011) she moved to the United States to continue her training. She graduated from Dermatology residency program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York (2018) then completed an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia (2019).
Dr. Alessa has also completed a post doctoral research fellowship in Dermatology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston (2013-2014) where she participated in clinical trials for different skin diseases and published in the area of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Dr. Alessa is a member in the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) where she is serving in the Early Career Committee.

- Jul 2015- Jun 2018 | PGY2-4 | Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital: Dermatology residency.

- Jun 2014- Jun 2015| PGY-1 | Tufts Medical Center: preliminary year in General Surgery.
