Dr. Nosheen Mahmood is a lecturer in Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, King Saud Bin Abdul Aziz University, and Riyadh. She obtained her MBBS from Ziauddin University was on Deans Honors and received Gold Medal and Best Graduate Award. She worked as a Post graduate trainee and scholar, from 2006-2010, at Ziauddin University and obtained her M.Phil. in Pathology. She completed her USMLE Step1, 2 and 3 with very good scores. She was a member of Pakistan Medical and Dental College, Post Graduate Program Coordinator, Ziauddin University, Member of Postgraduate Curriculum Committee, Ziauddin University and Member of Board of Studies Ziauddin College of Dentistry. Dr. Nosheen has authored several articles. She has completed her research on micro RNAs and their target gene derugulations involved in Oral Squamous cell carcinomas.
Dr. Nosheen Mahmood is Lecturer of Pathology in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. She is responsible for delivering the lectures and Basic and Clinical Science Sessions of Pathology and Histology. She tutors Problem Based Learning Sessions for all blocks in pre-clinical year 2. She is also involved in invigilation of Mid-Block, Final Written MCQ and Progress Examination of various Batches. She is OSPE Coordinator for all Blocks in pre-clinical phase. She regularly attends weekly PBL Briefing session in the department, monthly meeting in Basic Medical Science Department and meetings in Assessment unit. She is Co-coordinator of Musculo skeletal Block. She is a member of Pathology/ Microbiology Group and Research Committee.
