KSAU-HS was established in 2005. The main campus is in Riyadh with two branches in Jeddah and Al Ahsa. There is a strong affiliation between KSAU-HS and the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs (MNGHA). King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) is considered the research arm of the University.
