The Internal Quality Assurance System Framework (IQAS)

The IQAS is designed to be a framework for quality assurance at the University and aiming toward excellence and sustainable high quality. Though it is built to exceed the standards issued by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission-The National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (ETEC-NCAAA), it is also designed to deal with other related bodies such as external accreditation organizations, Ministry of Education (MOE), the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties or other accrediting bodies. It also aims to ensure that outcomes of the University meet the expectations of the targeted stakeholders in the community. The IQAS works at the levels of institute, colleges, deanships, centers, and administrative departments. It is overseen by the Steering Committee for Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation (QAAA) that reports to the University President and University Council.
