The Department of Medical Education, College of Medicine, is the first and the largest in the Kingdom. The department was the first in the region to provide a Master’s degree in health professions education. The program is offered in all three campuses, primarily delivered in Riyadh and video conferenced to other campuses. The Master provides educational leadership opportunities and enhances the educational skills of health professionals in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and other health professions. The program is comprehensive and covers all areas of health profession education through different blocks run over three semesters. The last semester of the program is devoted to research projects.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics is offered through the College of Public Health and Health Informatics at the Riyadh Campus. The program strives to provide advanced education and innovative research in the disciplines of epidemiology and biostatistics that promote and inform best practices, policies, and scientific evidence in the field of public health that meet the needs of the community. The MPHEB program empowers the students with skills and experience to conduct impactful research and impact public health decisions. The program is offered over two full years with a total of 42 credit hours.

​Currently, the Department of Community and Environmental Health offers a Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH). This program aims to overcome the severe shortage of qualified capabilities in the field of public health in the Kingdom. KSAU-HS offers this degree with the highest international standards in the specialty intending to become the national and regional center for Public Health advancement. This degree is offered at the Riyadh campus. The program requires a Bachelor’s degree obtained from an accredited university in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, applied medical science programs, health system administration, health education, public health, clinical nutrition, health administration, colleges of science health, or a Bachelor's degree in epidemiology.

The nurse-midwifery is a 2-year Master's degree program with a specialization in midwifery. Graduates are certified nurse-midwives who are responsible and accountable as primary health care providers to women throughout their life cycle and their newborns. They are expected to practice within a health care system that provides for consultation, collaboration, or referral as indicated by the client’s needs. Students must complete 54 credit hours to be awarded the Master's in nurse-midwifery.

The program, offered by the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, aims to graduate practitioners in the field of family safety and domestic violence prevention according to a world-class competency framework, modern issues, and contemporary trends. the courses are offered in a hybrid mode. The duration of the program is one academic year, which includes six courses distributed over three trimesters. Each trimester will have two courses. The total credit hours equal 24 credits.​​​
