Bachelor of Science in Audiology:
The Audiology program (AUDI) at the College of Applied Medical Sciences (COAMS) aims to train specialized and highly skilled medical personnel in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hearing and balance diseases and disorders. This program provides intensive clinical training and education in all areas of hearing and balance for both children and adults. It incorporates relevant scientific courses from prestigious universities, with the curriculum adapted from the University of Melbourne. The Bachelor of Science in Audiology Program consists of four years of study followed by a one-year internship, during which students will receive practical training in a clinical setting for 12 months. In addition, program students will actively engage in research, projects, and leadership activities to improve the quality of practice and promote evidence-based clinical practice.
Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology:
The Speech-Language program (SPCH) at the College of Applied Medical Sciences (COAMS) aims to qualify specialized and highly skilled medical personnel in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of Speech, Language, and swallowing diseases and disorders. This program includes intensive clinical training as well as an educational aspect in all areas of hearing and balance for children and adults. This program is characterized by being comprehensive of all relevant scientific courses taught in prestigious universities, and the curriculum was adopted (with modifications) from the University of Melbourne. The Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Program comprises four years of study followed by a one-year internship. During the internship, students will receive 12 months of practical training in a clinical setting. Program students will also actively participate in research, projects, and leadership activities that aim to enhance practice quality and promote evidence-based clinical practice .
