Admission Requirements for Residency and Fellowship Programs
To apply for residency or fellowship training programs at MNGHA/KSAU-HS, applicants must apply through the SCFHS matching system and should sit for an interview that is conducted during the admission period. In addition, when the applicant is accepted, he/she should submit the following required documents:
1. Notification of acceptance from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
2. Complete the application form
3. CV (updated)
4. Bachelor of Medicine / Surgery
5. Certificate of Excellence
6. Academic Transcript/Record (cumulative average of at least 3.5 of 5 for specialization programs)
7. Three recent recommendation letters (at least two of them should be from consultants in the selected specialty)
8. Copy of Saudi ID
9. Copy of passport
10. One (1) personal photograph (4x6)
11. Letter of financial guarantee (full-time) from the employer
12. Valid BLS, ACLS “ICU applicant", PALS “PICU & Ped. ER applicants" Certificates
13. MBBS Certificate & Internship Certificate
14. Verification Qualification Form
15. IHI Open School online course result (online - (as per e-mail instructions)
16. Medical Checklist through Pre-Employment Clinic (as per e-mail instructions)
17. Valid Malpractice Medical Insurance
17. Valid Professional Classification and Registration Record
18. Provide Sponsorship Letter
19. Saudi Board certificate or equivalent (for fellowship applicants).
20. Medically Fit.
21. SLE (Saudi Council Selection Examination Result for applicants for residency training program).
