​National & Gulf Center for Evidence Based Health Practice,  KSAU-HS is pleased to announce the upcoming “Research Data Management"  course on 22-23 January 2020 at the College of Public Health & Health Informatics, Riyadh.​​​

Objectives: 

This workshop proposes to cover the basic concepts of management and analysis of research data from the time of collection to publication along with hands on experiences of selected examples. By the end of this workshop, the participants should be familiar with the following data concepts: 

1-Types of data 
2-Data management lifecycle 
3-Data management plan
4-Data collection tools and design of questionnaire
5-Validation and reliability of questionnaire
6-Sampling and sample size
7-Data entry program and data integrity 
8- Data processing( preparation, transformation, and cleaning)
9-Dealing with outliers and missing data 
10-Data normality and choice of appropriate analysis
11-Creating tables and graphs for publication
12-Data preservation and sharing
13-Legal and ethical consideration for research data
