The first time in four years with the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Fahad Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health - the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in a joint collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Saudi Health Council, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the National Health Information Center, aligned with the 2030 Vision for Health Sector Transformation Programme.
The 2022 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) - Middle East Health Conference & Exhibition reunited in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 19 to 21 November 2022, featured global health thought leaders sharing examples of how governments and healthcare organizations are successfully collaborating across borders to implement various digital health initiatives. The purpose of cross-collaboration is to improve aspects in digital healthcare, such as quality, outcomes, safety, interoperability, sustainability, and accessibility of care.
With the participation of His excellency Dr. Bandar Abdulmohsen Al-Knawy, the President of KSAU-HS and the CEO of MNGHA, opening the second day with a panel of experts: Achieving Global Health Equity Through the Power of Digital, addressing the barriers to achieving health equity.
The participation of Dr. Taghreed Justinia, Regional Director IT Services, Technology & Health Informatics Department at KSAU-HS, and HIMSS Future 50 Health IT Leader, was welcomed as a member of the #HIMSS22 Conference Scientific Committee, and Session Chair and moderator with expert panels for two sessions: Cross-Border Collaborations: Improving Digital Health & Successfully Executing Digital Health Transformation Plans.
