Under the patronage of the University President, H.E. Prof. Bandar AlKnawy, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) is set to host its Graduate Day program and Job Fair, one of the largest job fairs in the health sector. The event, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Conference Centers across the Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Ahsa campuses. More than 53 government and private organizations are expected to participate.
Building on the success of the inaugural edition, this year's event aims to support KSAU-HS graduates in meeting their career aspirations by preparing them to enter the workforce in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The initiative also reflects the university's strategic focus on empowering graduates and enhancing their employability in the health sector.
This year's program includes several key components: a job fair, professional advisory sessions, a college exhibition, and a podcast titled “Toward the Future." Additionally, the Alumni Council will be launched, graduate cards will be issued, and a national labor observatory agreement will be signed. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit résumés, apply for jobs, and participate in on-site interviews. The college exhibition will also provide a platform for direct communication with faculty members and information about job prospects within the university's various colleges.
Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Bader Almuqbil, highlighted the direct supervision of H.E. Prof. AlKnawy in overseeing these initiatives, aimed at fostering stronger connections between the university and its graduates. He emphasized that the Graduate Day program is part of KSAU-HS's ongoing efforts to build a skilled workforce capable of advancing the nation's goals.
