MESSAGE FROM THE ASSOCIATE DEAN

 THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH

“Our primary aim is to promote high-impact and local scientific research that informs the transformation of the Kingdom into a knowledge-based economy under the Saudi Vision 2030.”

It is my great pleasure to welcome fellow faculty members, students, and KSAU-HS affiliates to the Office of Research. Our primary aim is to promote high-impact and local scientific research that contributes to the transformation of the Kingdom into a knowledge-based economy under the Saudi Vision 2030. We support and foster research that tackles preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic healthcare services and allows policymakers to address public health concerns.

The Office of Research comprises six centers that complement each other:

·         Research Support and Development Center (RSDC)

·         Research Quality Center (RQC)

·         University Research Profile (URP)

·         Biostatistics Support Center (BSC)

·         Scientific Writing Center (SWC)

·         The National & Gulf Center for Evidence-Based Health Practice (NGCEBHP)

The promotion of research productivity among KSAU faculty members and students is an embedded investment in our human capital. The establishment of these six centers under the Office of Research can enrich the University’s contribution to regional and international scientific research and ultimately, guide Saudi health policies and procedures.

I invite you to learn more about our programs by exploring our site, and I welcome an opportunity to hear from you.
