The Metagenomics-based Drug Discovery (MBDD) Lab, which is based in KAIMRC and Collage of Pharmacy in King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), uses various aspects of next-generation sequencing (NGS), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) to build a metagenomic pipeline. Our research aims to build the largest database of environmental DNA (eDNA) and the state-of-the-art metagenomic pipeline for Drug Discovery in Saudi Arabia.
