Awareness-raising activities

At King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, in all its branches, we are interested in applying sustainability practices, raising awareness among all its employees by activating global events related to sustainability and providing many activities aimed at raising awareness of the best environmental, health and cultural practices for students, faculty and staff members on campus. For this purpose, the university provided a number of club and activities, the below mentioned clubs are mainly concerned with Sustainability and organizing programs to all students related to Sustainability.


​Also, KSAU-HS represented by its deanships provides many activities such as the effort of the deanship of student affairs in collaboration with the Vice-Rector for Female Student Affairs and college deans and general managers, and the Department of Environmental Services under the support services. This comes as part of the university's efforts to keep pace with national events, including “#Environment Week”, which enhances the participation of male and female students in raising awareness of the importance of preserving vegetation cover.


The activity (tea and coffee) aims to correct medical rumors about them so that the visitor will leave the exhibition with a culture and technical knowledge, and undoubtedly free from medical fallacies, by merging two audiences (tea lovers and coffee lovers) in one activity, to talk about their cultivation, types, and the art of preparing them. At the end of the exhibition, there will be an exchange of views between both parties, as shown below:

In the field of raising health awareness, KSAU-HS organized many activates and campaigns such as   "Strong Heart", Heart diseases are often the result of accumulations of several reasons, such as: age, lifestyle, dietary style, and smoking, and may finally lead to cardiac arrest; Therefore, the campaign aims to educate people about these points. 

In addition to many health activities such as "Celiac and wheat allergy" which is aim to introduce Celiac disease, its symptoms, causes, risk factors, complications, the difference between it and wheat allergy, its diagnosis method, and finally its treatment, in cooperation with the Celiac Association.​
