Educational sustainability

During the COVID-19 pandemic, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences was able to seamlessly switch to distance education and virtual classrooms, as academic lectures were provided to students virtually. As part of the new Strategic Plan 2022-2027, the University is aiming to build on the lessons learned from the pandemic and the infrastructure upgrades that took place, by fostering distance education in existing and new academic programs. This will allow the university to have greater reach to students around the world, to have a greater sustainable impact, and support the 4th Sustainable Development Goal, which focuses on the importance of quality education and that education is a right for all.​
