The Vice President of Female Affairs at King Saud bin Abdulaziz for Health Sciences Dr. Haya Al Fozan, received on Wednesday 17th of April 2019 the university participants students in the annual debate of Riyadh Universities on its seventh rotation which was hosted by King Saud bin Abdulaziz for Health Sciences on Monday 1st of April 2019, at the University's convention center in Riyadh. In which, the University won third place. Students who participated in the debate team are: Sondos Al Raae, Amjaad Al Saeed, Ghada Al Majaree. While the reserve students were: Reem Al Garni, Raghad Al Sayaree. The debate team was under the leadership of coaches: Dr.Dalal Al Dughaither, Dr.Asma Al Kusayer and supervised by Dr.Reem Al-Qahtani.
Alongside King Saud for Health Sciences, nine universities have participated: King Saud University, Prince Norah bint Abdulrahman University, Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University, The Saudi Electronic University, Prince Sultan University, Dar-Al Uloom University, AL Maarefah University, Yamamah University and Riyadh Al-Elm University.
The debate language was English and it was about tow subjects:
•Artificial Intelligence (AI) is required for the future development of Saudi Arabia.
•Modernization has positively influenced the Saudi family.
King Saud University occupied first place. While Prince Sultan University came in second place and King Saud Bin Abdulaziz for Health Sciences took third place.
