The Vice Presidency of Educational Affairs is dedicated to advancing and enhancing current academic programs, as well as introducing new programs and outcomes aimed at graduating qualified healthcare professionals and responsible citizens who actively contribute to serving the nation and society. The Vice Presidency is committed to creating an innovative and creative educational environment within the university for both students and faculty. It ensures the smooth operation of academic and administrative processes across all colleges in the university’s three campuses by providing the necessary guidance and support for managing the educational process.
The Vice Presidency strives to align academic curricula with the university’s vision and goals across its campuses in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Ahsa. It also plays a vital role in promoting student engagement with the community through student activities organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. Additionally, through the Educational Technology Services, the Vice Presidency supports curriculum delivery via the Learning Management System (Blackboard), ensures the effective utilization of the Student Information System (SIS), and facilitates the use of other IT tools.

MBBS, MSc, MME, FRCPC,he is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and currently serves as the Vice President of Educational Affairs at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). He also works as a Consultant in Gynecological and Breast Pathology at King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard Health Affairs in Riyadh. Prof. Abdulmohsen earned his MBBS from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and obtained his Canadian board certification (FRCPC) in Anatomical Pathology from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he also completed a Master’s degree in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and a subspecialty fellowship in Gynecological and Breast Pathology. Additionally, he holds a Master’s in Medical Education from KSAU-HS. With over 50 published scientific papers in his field and in medical education, Prof. Abdulmohsen has extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum management, and teaching across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also provides diagnostic pathology services at a major tertiary care hospital with more than 1500 beds.
